Lawrence A. Weiner 75, of McConnelsville passed away at 12:15 a.m. June 3, 2022 at his home. He was born March 19, 1947 in Zanesville the son of the late, Lawrence A. Weiner Sr. And Maxine Fisher. He worked at Central Ohio Coal Co. , a member of the St. James Catholic Church in McConnelsville, Vietnam War Veteran, served on the MRDD Board and was also President of the Board. He is survived by his children, Chip Weiner of McConnelsville, Christopher Weiner of McConnelsville and Julie Brooker of Zanesville; grandchildren, Katelynn Blackburn, Alivia Mock, Cheyenne Burkhart, Nicholas Weiner, Gabriella Weiner, Lacey Brooker, Dakota Brooker, Montana Brooker and Kateri Brooker; six great grandchildren; sister, Ruth Baker of London, Ohio; and brothers, Richard Weiner and Michael Weiner of Malta, and Ronald Weiner of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judith Weiner. A memorial mass will be held at a later date in the summer. The family would like to thank Shrivers Hospice for their excellent  care he received from the staff. Memorial contributions may be made to Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus.
