Lena G. Colerick Coleman, 86 of Beverly, died Sunday Aug. 9, 2009 at 5:30pm at her residence. She was born on Jan. 7, 1923 in Bartlett, Ohio to the late Carl and Gladys Swayne Colerick. She was a homemaker, attended the 5th street Church of Christ in Beverly and was a lifetime member of the Pennsville Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary. She baby sat for fiends and neighbors in the Pennsville and Chesterhill area, and volunteered in her community. She is survived by her husband Dorris Coleman, whom she married on November 29, 1946, four daughters, Charlene (Tom) Bebout of Cincinnati, Linda (David) Lohr, Sharon (Clem) Biedenbach and Cheryl (Jim) Ullman all of Beverly, 9 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Curtis J. Coleman, one brother Carl and his wife Florence Colerick one granddaughter, Brandi Jackson, one great grandson, Joshua Jackson, and her mother-in-law, Thelma Coleman. Services will be held Thursday, Aug. 13, 2009 at 11:00a.m. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville with Evang. Zack Waite officiating, with burial following at the Pennsville Cemetery. Fiends may call of Weds., Aug. 12, 2009 at the funeral home from 1-8p.m. In lieu of flowers you may send donations to the Pennsville Vol. Fire Dept. 1370 Washington St. Stockport, Ohio 43787.
