Obituary

Leo D. Junn, 94 of McConnelsville, died on Sunday, March 13, 2011 at 3:55 P.M. at the Riverside Country Care Center in McConnelsville. He was born on October 2, 1916 in Erie, Pennsylvania to the late Samuel and Edith Burt Junn. He was a fabricator-fitter for the Victor Browning Crane Factory in Willoby, Ohio. He was a member of the Pennsville United Methodist Church and a past member of the Lake County Archeology Society in Willoby. Leo is survived by three sons, Roy Junn of Stockport, Norman Junn of Twinsburg, Ohio, and Dennis Junn of Alabaster, Alabama, one daughter, Bonnie Wilt of Brogue, Pennsylvania, one sister, Dorothy Barickman of Surf City, North Carolina, 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Carol Singer and his 1st wife Jean Adams Junn. Services will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at 4:00P.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville with a caring cremation following at his request. Friends may call on the family on Wednesday the day of the service from 2-4 P.M.
