Lewis L. Kirkbride 91, of Malta, passed away at 6:52 p.m. September 24, 2021 at Riverside Landing in McConnelsville. He was born December 16, 1929 in Morgan County the son of the late, John Kirkbride and Alta Parsons Kirkbride. Lewis  worked at Earich Lumber Yard and also Classic Homes in Zanesville. He is survived by his wife, Jeanette McGrath Kirkbride; children, Debbie White, Dean Kirkbride, Richard Kirkbride and Craig Kirkbride; six grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren; a brother, Dallas Kirkbride. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank and Wayne Kirkbride; and six sisters, Lucille Judson, Helen Miller, Carrie Nolan, Evelyn Lipscomb, Maxine Hall and Ruth Martin. Friends may call 11:00 a.m. to 2 :00 p.m. Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Miller-Huck Funeral home in McConnelsville, where services will be held at 2:00p.m. with Pastor Galen Finley officiating. He will be laid to rest in McConnelsville Cemetery.
