Lillie J. Taylor Bailey, age 72, of Stockport , Ohio, passed away at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at her residence. She was born on March 13, 1940, a daughter of the late Mont E. and Virginia Fletcher Taylor. She was a homemaker and of the Protestant faith. She was a member of the 55 Seniors Club at Marietta Memorial Hospital. Surviving are her husband, William C. Bailey Sr. of the home; 3 sons: William C. Bailey Jr., Samuel Bailey and wife Pricilla, Clarence R. Bailey and wife Ava, all of Stockport, Ohio: 1 daughter: Lillie Mae Bailey of Stockport; 6 grandchildren, 1 step-granddaughter, 4 great grandchildren; 3 brothers: George R. Taylor of Bremen, Everett J. Taylor and William J. Taylor, both of Baltimore, Ohio and 2 sisters: Mary E. Claffey of Columbus and Alice M. Lutz of Bremen. Services will be held on Tuesday, August 28 at 11:00 a.m. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill, with Pastor Charles Simmons officiating. Burial will be in the Tabor Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:00 - 800 p.m. on Monday.
