Lilly M. Carder, 65, of Nelsonville, passed away on Friday, July 9, 2021 at the Grant Hospital in Columbus.  She was born on Jan, 1, 1956 in Plantsville, Ohio to the late John and JoAnne Allen Lewis.  She did clerical work for many different companies during her life.  She was a member of the St. Teresa of Avila in Cincinnati and several singing groups.  She is survived by a step-son, Craig Carder of Toledo, 2 brothers, Ed Lewis of Stewart and John Lewis of Bartlett, 2 sisters, Mary Lewis and Joyce Lewis both of Amesville and 3 grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Barry Carder and a sister, Debbie Richards.  A caring cremation is taking place at her wishes.  A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.  Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill is handling the arrangements.  To send a note of condolence to the family go to www.matheneyfh.com.
