Linda Sue Bennett, 73, of McConnelsville, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 10, 2025 at her residence.  She was born on May 8, 1952 in Whipple, Ohio to the late Richard and Irene Morganstern Payne.  She is survived by 3 sons, Jamie Sheets of Reno, John Howell of Xenia and Russell Gavor of Oklahoma, a sister, Donna Jean Payne of Virginia and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Paul Bennett.  Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville is handling a caring cremation for the family.
