ZANESVILLE - Linda Mayle Hampton, age 64, died Friday, April 17, 2009 at her residence . Born February 4, 1945 in Chesterhilll, to Gerald Mayle and Hettie Stires Mayle. Linda was a retired assembler at United Technology, Zanesville. She married Larry Hampton and he survives. Also surviving are two sons, William Mayle of Chesterhille, and Steven (Linda Eveland) Mayle of Zanesville; four daughters, Regina (Mark) Hale of Zanesville, Carol Norris of Newark, Paula (Darren) Hampton Lomax of Zanesville, and Esther Johnson of Cols., OH; one brother, Henry Mayle of Chesterhill; two sisters, Rose (Harold) Dalton of Chesterhill, and Mary Fowler of Zanesville; three Step Daughters; 19 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents; four brothers Wilbert, Clarence, Chester, and Vernon Mayle; four sisters, Martha Hill, Esther Norris, Wanda Morgan, and Lucinda Tolliver. Service will be Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Stone-Matheney Funeral Home with Rev. Lewis Mayle officiating. Interment will be in Chesterhill Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. Tuesday April 21, 2009 at Stone-Matheney Funeral Home.
