Linda Arlin Madden Linda Arlin Madden, 67, died Saturday, August 11, 2012, at her residence in McConnell Manor of McConnelsville, Ohio. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 16, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in McConnelsville. Samuel Elliott will officiate the service. Linda Arlin Madden was born January 21, 1945, to Edison and Betty Myers in York Township, Morgan County, Ohio. She was the second oldest of three children, the others being Lily Thompson and Rodney Lee Myers. As a young woman she moved to Cleveland, Ohio and later married Marion Penny Madden from Griffin, Georgia. Marion later died August 29, 2003. Mrs. Madden always longed for her roots and was later motivated along with her family to return to Morgan County. Her family said as a child she loved animals and even brought home the occasional stray. Later, as a young adult she enjoyed growing flowers, gardening and sharing the produce with neighbors. She was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on August 22, 1989. She is survived by her seven children, Dowlene "Jackie" Rose of Washington, Tracy Elizabeth of Ohio, Vera Jeanine Myers of Ohio, Marion Madden Jr. of Ohio, Cheryl L. Shuster on North Carolina, Nathan James Madden of Ohio and Ross Garrett Madden of Ohio. She also had thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the McConnelsville Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses
