Lisa Ann Kangas, 46, of McConnelsville passed away Friday, March 28,2014. She was born June 21,1967 in Zanesville. Lisa was a 1985 graduate of Crooksville High School and was a homemaker. She had worked as a heart cath lab technician and was a member of the Sinners & Saints Inc. where she served as secretary. She is survived by her mother Joan Bennett Bateson McClannan and step father Jack McClannan both of Crooksville, 2 sons Brady Harrod and Tucker Kangas both of McConnelsville, a sister Mitzi Bateson and Brent Morris of McConnelsville, a brother Michael Bateson of Corning, her significant other Mark Evangelista of Bremen and several much loved nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father Ralph Bateson and a brother Frankie Bateson. Friends and family may call Tuesday April 1,2014 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Sinners & Saints Clubhouse (St. Rt. 60 south of McConnelsville) where funeral services will be held Wednesday April 2,2014 at 11:00 a.m. She will be laid to rest in Iliff Cemetery near Crooksville.
