Lloyd R. Sweet, 63 of Stockport, died Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at 5:20 P.M. at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. He was born on June 23, 1946 in Stockport Ohio to the late Wilbur R. and Bessie Pugh Sweet. He retired after thirty years as a Boiler Maker from Union Local # 105 in Piketon, Ohio, and was a member of the Leather Stretchers Pony Pullers of Morgan County. He is survived by his wife Pamela Dille Sweet of the home, two sons, Brad (Angie) Sweet of Stockport, and Nathan Sweet of the home, one daughter, Amber Sweet of McConnelsville, two step-daughters, Patty (Adam) Bragg, and Amanda (Tom) Greathouse of Lowell, one sister, Eleanor (Bob) Baus of Unionville, and nine grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and one son Brian Sweet. Services will be held Saturday, June 12, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill with burial following at the Stockport Cemetery. Friends may call on the family on Friday, June 11, 2010 from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
