Lois Genevieve Burkheimer Wolfe, 81, of McConnelsville, passed away at 1:10 p.m. Monday, April 6, 2015, at the Highland Oaks Health Center in McConnelsville.

"Jennie," as she was known to her family, was born November 10, 1933, in Meigs Township, Morgan County, the fourth child of W. M. "Barky" Burkheimer and Glenna Morrison Burkheimer.

She worked in the meat department at Central Market for many years until her marriage to Donald Wolfe in 1969. She was a member of Deerfield Presbyterian Church and the Neelyville Grange.

She is survived by two brothers, Garner (Sue) Burkheimer of Beverly and Jerry (Pat) Burkheimer of Mint Hill, NC; and four sisters, Donna Hall of Malta, Dorotha (Chester) McCormick of McConnelsville, Alice (Gary) Hull and Mary (Robert) Walters, both of Lakeland, FL; and several nieces and nephews.

* She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Calling hours will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday, April 9, at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 10, at the funeral home with Pastor Galen Finley and Pastor Barbara Morrison officiating.

She will be laid to rest beside her husband, Donald, in Beverly Cemetery.
