Lois Kay Strode 76, of McConnelsville, passed away January 11, 2019 at her home with her family by her side. She was born May 8, 1942 in Morgan County  the daughter of the late Dwight Roberts and Elizabeth Richardson Roberts. She was a registered nurse and had worked at Valley Hills Nursing Home, Mark Rest Center, Bethesda Hospital, and Parmiter Nursing Home in Malta. She is survived by her children, Rebecca K. Shumaker of Great Bend, Kansas; Darcy (Norman) Middy of Malta; Dwight Strode of Crooksville; nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph G. Strode who died October 3, 2017. Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, January 14, 2019 at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville where services will be held at 1:00p.m. Tuesday with Pastor Galen Finley officiating. She will be laid to rest in Wiseman Cemetery beside her husband.
