Loren Shawn Adams, 50, of Malta, passed away on Sat. May 3, 2025 at his residence.  He was born on Dec. 15, 1974 in Columbus, Ohio to Marvin and Lorita Lydelle Adams.  He worked as a self-employed Truck Driver.  He is survived by his mother, Lorita Adams of Malta, ex-wife and friend, Lori Miller of Malta, step-daughter, Kaley Robertson, 2 sisters, Amanda Foster of Jackson and Jennifer Adams of Stoutsville and 4 grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his father and his daughter Jillian Adams.  A graveside service will be held on Sat. May 10, 2025 at the Malta Cemetery at 12:00 Noon.  Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville is handling the arrangements for the family.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Shawn Adams Burial Fund at the First National Bank of McConnelsville to assist with funeral expenses.
