Louise Bell 86, of McConnelsville, passed away at 2 :10 a.m. September 24, 2015 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville. She was born April 28, 1929 in Pomeroy the daughter of the late Earl Thomas and Sarah Ward Thomas. She was a retired hairdresser and a member of the Cornerstone Church in McConnelsville. She is survived by one son Melvin Bell Jr. of McConnelsville and six grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Melvin Bell Sr. and a daughter Melva Louise Reisinger, sisters Ada Strausbaugh and Francis Hartman, brothers Archie Thomas and Earl Lewis Thomas. Calling hours will be held from 12 to 2 p.m. Monday, Sept 28, 2015 at the Cornerstone Church in McConnelsville where services will held at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Steve Smith officiating. Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Gravel Bank Cemetery in Chesire, Ohio. Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville is entrusted with arrangements.
