Lucille R. Curby, 92, of McConnelsville, died Friday, August 28, 2009 at 5:25 a.m. at the Genesis Health and Rehab Center in McConnelsville. She was born on March 19, 1917 in Pennsville Ohio to the late Elmer and Almeda Kirby Rouanzoin. She was a homemaker and a factory worker at Malta Manufacturing in Malta. She was a member of the Pennsville Church of Christ and the VFW ladies Auxiliary in Malta. She is survived by one son James and Janet Hill of Redding California, one daughter Dorothy and Fred "Buzzie" Balderson of McConnelsville, 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Russell Hill, third husband Robert Curby, two brothers, three sisters and one granddaughter. Services will be held Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at 11:00a.m. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville with Pastor Galen Finley officiating with burial following at the Stockport Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday, August 31, from 6-8p.m. at the funeral home.
