Lucy Belle Mayle Flowers, 85, of Amesville, Ohio, died at 7:26 p.m. on Friday, November 6, 2015 at Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta, Ohio. She was born July 20, 1930 in Sharpsburg, Ohio, the daughter of the late Carl and Ella Hill Mayle. She married Earl Lee Flowers, was a homemaker, a member of the Mt. Hermon Church, and worked at housekeeping for area residents. She was a loving mother to her eight children. Surviving are 2 sons: Terry R. (Turk) Flowers of McConnelsville, Kenny and Ellen Flowers of Amesville; 4 daughters: Travis Male of Amesville, Ella "Chris" and Steve Patterson of Columbus, Tracy and David Binegar of Covington, Louisiana, Kelly Flowers of Chesterhill: 16 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; and 2 sisters: Grace (Patti) Croston of Chesterhill, and Helen Goins of Bartlett. Lucy was preceded in death by her parents, husband Earl, and 2 sons: Phillip (Bill) Flowers and Jerry (Jake) flowers. Services will be held Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mt. Hermon Church with Evang. Junior Walker officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Hermon Cemetery.
