Lucy E. King, 85, of Cutler, passed away Fri. Feb. 16, 2024 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.  She was born Aug. 21, 1938 to the late Avery and Cleo (Michaels) Sumpter in Miami County, IN.  She was a part of the Wesley Township Fire Department for 39 years. She is survived by 3 sons, Donald King of Vienna, WV, Jim (Kim) King of Cutler, OH, and Kevin (Sharon) King of Bartlett, OH, 3 daughters, Kathy Delancy of Davisville, WV, Saundra (Jeff) Dale, and Trina Jackson both of Zanesville, OH, and sister Reah (Dick) Autz of Middletown, MD, along with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Billie King, two daughters, Vicky King and Pamela Smith, son, Michael King, three sisters, and a brother. A caring cremation will take place at her request.  A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Sat. Feb. 24, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at Wesley Township Volunteer Fire Department, 2060 St. Rt. 550, Cutler, OH 45724. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wesley Township Volunteer Fire Department.
