Lyle E. Harlow, 79 of Stockport, passed away on Sat. Sept. 17, 2016 in his home after a battle with cancer. He was born on July 5, 1937 in Cumberland, Ohio to the late Daniel Leroy Harlow and Mabel Dickinson Harlow. He retired from Gould Inc. where he worked for over 32 years in the maintenance Dept. He was a member of the Main Street Church of Christ in McConnelsville. He was a past member of the Stockport Vol. Fire Dept. and loved working in his yard, restoring old cars and John Deere mowers. He served his country in the US Army. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Mildred McKibben Harlow, 3 sons, Donald Harlow of Reinersville, Randy Harlow of Stockport and Rick Harlow of Stockport, 1 daughter, Twila West of McConnelsville, 2 brothers, Kenneth Harlow of Stockport, Carl Harlow of Parkersburg, 2half-brothers, David Harlow of Stockport and Jim Strudler of Ashland, 7 half-sisters, Tammy Morris of Vero Beach, Fla, Beryl Curtis of Roseville, Sue Kirkbride of Roseville, Shannon Kennedy of Zanesville, Beatrice Jivanjee of Columbus, Karen Dye of Westerville and Mary Noss of New London, 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers Richard and Nick Harlow. Services will be held on Tues., Sept. 20, 2016 at the Main Street Church of Christ in McConnelsville at 11:00 A.M. with Evang. Vernon Eldridge officiating. Friends may call on the family on Monday, Sept. 19, 2016 from 5-8 P.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville and 1 hour prior to the services at the church.
