Mabel L. Norman 98, of Pataskala , formerly of Malta passed away on Dec. 5, 2015 at Tuscany Gardens in Pataskala. She was born April 15, 1917 in Morgan County the daughter of the late Glenn Norris and Blanche Goins. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Malta and Morgan County Senior Citizens and was a volunteer at Mark Rest Center and Good Samaritan Hospital. Surviving are daughters Jean Gibson of Zanesville, Patricia Dorsey of Columbus, Shirley Bynum of Zanesville,Alice Kay Morgan of Reynoldsburg, sons Roy S. Norman of Columbus and Ronald Norman of Malta, 19 grandchildren , 36 great grandchildren, 17 great great grandchildren,including special grandchildren Brad Morgan, Lisa Bynum, (her boy) Jackson & (her little girl) Rylee; sisters Mary Mayle of McConnelsville and Martha Mayle of Malta. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Sylvie Norman in 1991, sons Sylvie Norman Jr and Steve Norman, sisters Ethel Norman, Maxine Goins , Betty Pruitt, and Margaret Myers, five brothers Gail, Delmar Glenn, Victor, and Justice. Calling hours will be held from 11:00 a.m to 1 :00p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2015 at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConelsville, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m..
