Margaret A. Johnson, 86, of McConnelsville passed away Thursday, July 14, 2022 at Highland Oaks Health Center. She was born January 22, 1936  a daughter of the late, Linson Stebbins and  Emily Rich Stebbins. Margaret had formerly worked for Ohio Power as a clerk cashier. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in McConnelsville. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Jerry Johnson; a son, Josh (Deidre) Johnson of Malta; a granddaughter, Lilly Ann Johnson of Malta; and a sister, Candy Stebbins of Athens. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Jane Peffers; and two brothers, John and David Stebbins. A private graveside service will be held and Margaret will be laid to rest in McConnelsville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church 183 E.
