Margaret L. Valentine, 89 of McConnelsville, died on Friday, April 24, 2015 at her home. She was born on January 7, 1926 in Welch, West Virginia to the late Gale J. and Dorothy Morris Graham. She worked for many years as a school teacher for the Morgan County School District and attended both the Trinity United Methodist Church in McConnelsville and the Stockport United Methodist Church in Stockport. She is survived by 2 sons, Thomas Valentine of Lothian, Maryland and George Valentine of Rockport, Indiana, 1 daughter, Carol Hook of McConnelsville, 14 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 5 step-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, William D. Valentine, 2 brothers, Ben and Bob Graham and a sister, Mary Nestor Nye. Services will be held on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville with Pastor Galen Finley officiating. Friends may call on the family on Thursday, April 30 from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
