Margie E. "Dimples" Goins, 94, of The Plains, died, Monday, July 19, 2010 at 3:00p.m. at the Kimes Nursing Home in Athens. She was born on February 6, 1916 in Fleming, Ohio to the late Edward and Della Mayle Adams. She was a homemaker and a Rosy Riveter in San Diego during WWII. She was a member of the Cutler Mission Church and the Bartlett Senior Citizens. She is survived by her husband, Orville A. Goins of the home, three daughters, Shirley Tabler of Titusville, Florida, Sue Carnes of The Plains, and Joyce (John) Wharton of Athens, eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Ralph Adams, one infant brother, one sister, Winnie Tabler, and one great granddaughter Maggie Tabler. Services will be held Friday, July 23, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mt Hermon Church near Amesville with Pastor Delbert Bennett officiating, burial will follow at the Mt. Hermon Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday, July 22, 2010 from 6-9 p.m. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill and one hour prior to the services at the church.
