Obituary

Margueritte Faye Bachelor, 87 of Stockport, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 20, 2019 at the Riverside Country Care Center. She was born on June 3, 1931 in Neelysville, Ohio to the late Guy and Eva Mae Knox Brothers. She worked for 9 years as a Custodian at Stockport Elementary and enjoyed being a Homemaker raising her children. She was a member of the Stockport Church of Christ, a Cub and Girl Scout leader and a charter member of the Stockport EMS. She is survived by 2 sons, Roger (Janet) Rowland of McConnelsville and David (Stacey) Rowland of Stockport, a daughter, Sally (Ron) Smith of McConnelsville, a step-son, Ron (Gisele) Bachelor of Zanesville, a step-daughter, Carol (Randy) Clark of Utah, 3 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren and 2 step-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, 1st husband, Lee Rowland, 2nd husband, Ray Bachelor 2 brothers, John and Herbert Brothers and 2 sisters, Violet Madden and Ruth Ann Staats. Services will be held on Thursday, Jan 24, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville with burial following in the Stockport Cemetery. Friends may call on the family on Wednesday, Jan 23 from 4-7 P.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Stockport Vol. Fire Dept.
