Marian M. McPeak 87, of Malta passed away at 10:20 a.m. August 22, 2020 at her home in Malta. She was born June 3, 1933 the daughter of the late Joseph Smith and Beulah Sharp Smith. She had worked at Cleveland Graphite Bronze, Clevite, Gould, Imperial Clevite, Federal Mogal and Miba Bearings. She was a member of the 7th Street Church of Christ in McConnelsville and Valley Chapter #19 Eastern Star in McConnelsville. She is survived by her children; Nancy Beth Conaway of Delaware, D. Steven Jackson of Chesterhill, and R. Jeffrey McPeak of Lakewood, Ohio; three grandchildren, Aaron Jackson, Adam Jackson, and Adessa Jackson; one great grandchild, Brennan Melvin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. McPeak who died May of 1995; sister, Nancy Mills; and brothers, Donald Smith and Edgar Nelson. Funeral services will be held at 1:00p.m. Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville with Evangelist Sam Bartrug officiating. Friends may call two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Malta Cemetery beside her husband. Memorial contributions may be made to the 7th StreetChurch of Christ in McConnelsville.
