Marilyn D."Dawnie" Cunningham, 72, of McConnelsville passed away at 9:35 a.m. Saturday, October 3,2015 at her home.

She was born February 14, 1943 in Malta to the late Harley Gladden and Mina Faye McElfresh Gladden. Dawnie was a homemaker and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church of McConnelsville.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years Robert E. Cunningham; a son Thomas (Jackie) Cunningham of Malta; a daughter Mystie (Jeremy) Carpenter of Vienna, W.V.; a grandson Ryan Cunningham and Caitlin McCoy, and a great grandson Brantley Cunningham. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Nancy Reed.

Calling hours will be Monday, October 5,2015 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Adam Satterthwaite officiating. She will be laid to rest in Malta Cemetery.
