Marilyn A. Keyes, 56, of McConnelsville passed away at 7:25 a.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at the Highland Oaks Health Center in McConnelsville. She was born May 4, 1959 in Marietta to the late Paul Keyes and Helen Little Keyes. Marilyn was a lifelong resident of Morgan County and spent her childhood on a small farm on Pisgah Ridge Rd. She was a client at the Mary Hammond Workshop for several years. She was a member of 4-H Club and the Riding Therapy Program. (Kudos to Russ Harper and Marlene Work). Marilyn also participated in Special Olympics on the bowling team and the softball throw. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Paul C. and Lynn E. Keyes of McConnelsville. Calling hours will be Friday, March 18, 2016 from 11:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest beside her parents in the McConnelsville Cemetery. Many volunteers and caregivers enhanced Marilyn's quality of life throughout the years and the family is very grateful. A special mention to Kelley Moore and Valerie Coler.
