Mark E. Reed 71, of McConnelsville, passed away on Tues, Sept. 10, 2024 at the Highland Oaks Nursing Home in McConnelsville.  He was born on Aug 23, 1953 in Corning, Ohio to the late Albert Reed and Veldene Frances Davis.  He worked as an electrician for the IBEW Electrical Union.  He is survived by his daughter, Jennie (Wes) McGrew of Stockport, a brother, Ab Reed of Portersville, 3 sisters, Connie Justice of Lancaster, Rose Hensler of Oak Hill and Edith Frecker of Zanesville, 2 granddaughters, Hailee Harlow and Bailee (Ian Denny) Harlow and special friends, Virginia Martin, Cassie Mullins, Randy North and Mike Crites.  He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Shelly and Tom Reed and a sister, Cheryl Ann Reed.  A graveside service will take place on Fri, Sept 13, 2024 at 3:00 P.M. at the Portersville Cemetery in Portersville, Ohio with military honors.  To send a note of condolence to the family go to www.matheneyfh.com.
