Marlene K. Anderson, 74 of Deavertown, passed away on Monday, Sept. 5, 2016 at the Riverside Landing Nursing Home in McConnelsville. She was born on Nov. 16, 1941 in Misco, Ohio to the late Stewart and Lucy Lanning Thomas. She worked for many years at Brockway Glass as well as working on the Dairy Farm. She was a member of the Crooksville United Methodist Church. She is survived by her 2 sons, Bernie (Peggy) Anderson of McConnelsville and Bobby (Shellie) Anderson of Deavertown, 2 sisters, Connie Murray of Crooksville and Linda Miller of Columbus, 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Her parents and her husband Bernard Anderson precede her in death. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, Sept. 8, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at the Black Oak Cemetery near Deavertown.
