Martha Jane Hanson 86, of McConnelsville, passed away September 28, 2018 at her home. She was born August 1, 1932 at Ringold, Ohio the daughter of the late Ivan and Olive Kincaid. She was a homemaker and a volunteer. She was a member of the 7th Street Church of Christ in McConnelsville. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Kenny Hanson, and a brother Fred Kincaid. She is survived by her husband, Loy Hanson; sons, Steve (Alice) Hanson, Mike (Kim) Hanson of McConnelsville, daughter Lois (John) Legarth of Elberta, Alabama; sister, Shirley Douthit of Gallipolis, Ohio; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. In keeping with her wishes, she will be cremated, with no services at this time. A family memorial will be held at Fairview  Cemetery at a later date.
