Mary I. Clawson 90, of McConnelsville, passed away at 12:35 p.m. August 11, 2014 at Riverside Landing in McConnelsville.She was born October 1, 1923 in Marion, Ohio the daughter of the late Grover Almendinger and Ruth Reynolds Almendinger. She was a housewife and a member of Malta United Methodist Church in Malta. She married Ernest L. Clawson on March 20, 1941. He preceded her in death on July 19, 2011. Surviving are her children Michael (Rebecca) Clawson of Malta; Ernest B. Clawson of Pennsville; Stephen (Rebecca) Clawson of Whitehall; and Grover Clawson of Columbus;12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; one sister Betty White of Malta. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by sisters Dorothy Norris, Freda Bankes, Geraldine Reed, and a brother Ben Almendinger. Calling hours will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00p.m. Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville, where services will follow at 1:30 p.m..
