Mary Lou Haines, 87, of McConnelsville passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at the Highland Oaks Health Center in McConnelsville. She was born December 20, 1930 in Beverly to the late, Dwight Arthur Haines and Anna Lashley Haines. Mary Lou was a retired secretary and had worked for The Christie Law Office of McConnelsville for 43 years. She was a member of the O.E.S. Chapter of Reinersville. Mary Lou is survived by a brother, Bud (Helen) Haines of McConnelsville; a niece, Jane Ellison of Newport; a brother-in-law, Donald Strode of Newport; and several great nieces and great nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Strode. A graveside service will be held Friday, April 13, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Beverly Cemetery with Pastor Galen Finley officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the M. & M.
