Mary Virginia Robinson James of Riverside Landing in McConnelsville passed away on Tuesday January 16, 2018. Born February 22, 1920 in Bloom Township (Morgan County) to the late Ross and Blanche Nuzum Robinson. She is preceeded in death by her husband C.O James in May 1978. Also preceeding in death are two sisters, Opal Robinson, Betty Revenaugh and two brothers Charles Robinson and Kenneth Robinson. She was a housewife but was a baby sitter to many children in the area. She is a member of the Grace United Methodist church in McConnelsville. Surviving is a son Roger A. James and a daughter in law Delynn who reside in Suwanee Georgia, one sister Midge Moore and a brother in law Cecil Moore of McConnelsville. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Sunday, Jan. 21, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville with Pastor Lee Ann Dunlap officiating. Burial will be in the Allen Cemetary in Blue Rock, Muskingum County. Friends may call on the family of Saturday, Jan 20 from 5-7 P.M.
