Mary E. Ray 90, of McConnelsville , passed away at 2:45 a.m. March 20, 2016 at Riverside Landing in McConnelsville. She was born May 2, 1925 in Morgan County, the daughter of the late Charley Johnson and Ruth Clark Johnson. She was a housewife and a member of the Eastern Star in McConnelsville. She is survived by son in law John Rodger Sands of McConnelsville, daughter in laws Martha Ray of Malta and Joni Wells; eight grandchildren , fourteen  great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren, sisters Kay Shuster, Linda Horner, and Ann Torbert. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ronald Ray who died Dec. 19, 2000, children Steven Buck Ray, Dee Ray, John Ray, and Cheryl Sands, brothers Phil, George, Charley, and Johnny Johnson, sisters Betty Hosom, Judy Propst, Glenna Hivnor, and Susie Shuster.  Calling hours will be held from 11 :00 a.m to 1 :00p.m Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville, services will be held at 1:30  p.m.  Wednesday with Pastor Galen Finley officiating.
