Mary Lou Lowther 87, of Stockport passed away at 11:20 p.m. May 15, 2015 at Highland Oaks Health Center in McConnelsville. She was born July 17, 1927 daughter of the late Dayton Hoover and Idenys Eddleblute Hoover. She worked 23 years at the Stockport Post Office and was a member of Stockport United Methodist Church and Stockport Senior Citizens .She is survived by one son Michael (Arva) Lowther of Stockport , three grandchildren Kathy Curry, David (Lisa) Lowther and Jacob (Megan) Myers; six great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild, sister Vonda Lee Pettibone of Stockport. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Lowther who died in 1992 , sister Lucille Hoover Rodgers and a brother Richard Hoover .Calling hours will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 18, 2015 at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville , where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday with Pastor Mike Wells officiating.
