Mary Jane DeLano McInturf, 90, of Pennsville, died Saturday, March 5, 2011 at 12:55 P.M. at the Highland Oaks Nursing Home in McConnelsville. She was born on October 25, 1920 in Marietta, Ohio to the late Amos Pitt and Nettie Hopkins DeLano. She was a schoolteacher for 37 years. She was raised Scotch Presbyterian and attended the Pennsville Church of Christ. She was a member of the Pennsville Hobby Club, a 4H Advisor, and organized the schools science fairs. Mary is survived by two sons, Eric (Barb) McInfurf of Columbus and Bobby McInturf of Pennsville, one daughter, Linda (Humberto) Gonzalez of Saudi Arabia, one sister, Erma (Bob) Adamson of Whittier California, one granddaughter, Megan of Columbus, three nephews Roger, Larry and Steven and a niece Emily. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Cecil McInturf and one sister Eva Farrell. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at 1:30 P.M. at the Pennsville Cemetery. Friends may call on the family on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 from 11-1 P.M.
