Mary Lou Nichols 80, of 141 St Rt 78 S.W. Malta, passed away at 1 :10 p.m. February 20, 2013 at the Genesis Morrison House in Zanesville. She was born May 1, 1932 in Union Township, Morgan County the daughter of the late Charles Fitch and Juanita Glass Fitch. She worked at the Sears Catalog Store and Stifflers Store in McConnelsville. She was a member of the Wolf Creek Church Of Christ. She is survived by two sons, Steve (Linda) Nichols and Chris (Regina) Nichols both of Malta; four grandchildren April Nichols, Shane Nichols, Joei (Daniel) Waite and Jake (Jatina) Nichols; great grandchildren Cody, Blake,D.J.,Dalton, Tanner, and Clayton. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Elvin Nichols who died November 25, 2011, and one great grandson Jacob Lane Nichols. Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, 2013 at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville. Services will be held at 11 :00 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013 at the Wolf Creek Church Of Christ near Malta with Harmon Thomas officiating.
