Mary E. Riggs, 80, of Navarre, formerly of McConnelsville passed away January 17, 2014 in Navarre.

She was born December 31, 1933 in Adena, Ohio the daughter of the late Chester Bywater and Effie Mozingo Bywater. She was a housewife and attended the Seventh Street Church of Christ in McConnelsville, and was a wonderful aunt.

She is survived by a daughter, Barbara (Sylvia Mae); a son, Roger William; one brother, Clarence Bywater of Malta; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William Riggs, two sisters, Goldie Turney and Sylvia Dennis, two brothers, Elmer Bywater and William (Jeff) Bywater.

Funeral services will be held at 12.00 p.m. Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville with Evangelist Sam Bartrug officiating.
