Mary Edna Stine, 89 of McConnelsville, Ohio died at 10:15 A.M. on January 15th, 2015. She was a resident of Highland Oaks Health Center in McConnelsville, Ohio for many years. She was born August 24th, 1925 in the Chandlersville area of Muskingum County, Ohio. On November 1st, 1941 she married William J. Stine in Maysville, Ky and were blessed with five children, William Richard (Shirley), Thomas Joseph (Teri Lewis), Jo Ann Scholl (Timothy), Mark Steven (Ellen Russell), and Larry Matthew (Debbie). Seven Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren, and 16 Great Great Grandchildren. Mary was blessed with many friends in her long lifetime and "the girls" at Highland Oaks meant so much to her that she considered them family. Her family is truly grateful for all they gave her while residing at Highland Oaks Health Center. Mary was preceded in death by her husband William J. Stine on March 16th, 2009, her parents Calvin Earl Metcalf & Alma Rose Israel, a brother Thomas Clark Metcalf, and two sisters Eloise Holbrook and Janette Linscott. A memorial Service will be held on January 25th 2015 at 3:00 P.M. at The Church of the Gospel Ministry, 210 N Kennebec, McConnelsville, Ohio with Pastor Galen Finley officiating.
