View a Video Memorial Mary Elizabeth "Bridget" Triplet CHESTERHILL: Mary Elizabeth "Bridget" Triplet, 82, of Chesterhill, entered intMary Elizabeth "Bridget" Triplet, 82, of Chesterhill, entered into the arms of our Lord and Savior and her precious son, Stan on Sunday, October 16, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. at the Morrison House Hospice of Zanesville. She was born on December 30, 1928 in Sharpsburg, Ohio to the late Rollo R. and Mary G. Rainer Armstrong. She worked for many years at Athens Mental Health Center and retired from the Ohio University. She attended Liberty United Brethren Church near Chesterhill. She resided on the Morgan Local School Board, served as Marion PTO President, was active with Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, a member of the Chesterhill Order of Eastern Star and drove stock car "Powder Puff." She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Bernard Triplet of the home, two sons, Stacey Triplet of Malta, and Stephen Triplet of Zanesville, five daughters, Sherry Mendenhall, Susan Ashley, Sheila Woodyard of Chesterhill, Shawna Tabor of McConnelsville and Shavonne Hale of Charleston, WV, one sister, Patty Faires of Glouster, two sisters-in-law, Ilo Armstrong of Chesterhill, and Madelon Armstrong of The Plains. Twenty Grandchildren, Jill Oliver, Jeremy Mendenhall, Jennifer Triplet, Jaime Eberhart, Josie Filkins, Joshua Triplet, Leslie Ashley, Melanie Aune, Travis Woodyard, Troy Woodyard, Kendra Brown, Kara Tabor, Kyle Tabor, Wesley Swank, Bridget Sowards, Tara Greuey, Adam Triplet, Chelsy Triplet, Montana Triplet and Nicole Triplet, and 25 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, one son, Stanley Triplet, two brothers, Jack and Larry Armstrong. Services will be held Friday, October 21, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill with Reverend Charles Simmons officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hermon Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday, October 20, 2001, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Morrison House Hospice or the Liberty U.B. Church.
