Mary E. Vaughn 66, of 856 S. Riverside Drive, McConnelsville,passed away at 3:35 a.m. Sunday, December 18, 2011 at the Riverside Country Care Center in McConnelsville. She was born May 19, 1945 in Ashland , Kentucky the daughter of the late Elza Salyer and Sophia Kirk. She was a bus driver for the Ewing School.She is survived by one daughter Dawn Vaughn of Montana; two sons Darren Edwards of Todd, North Carolina and Robert Vaughn of Reno, Ohio; one step daughter Denise Vaughn of Arizona and one step son Ronald Vaughn of Florida; several grandchildren; three sisters Pat Riffle of Stockport, Deloris Smith of Coal Grove , Ohio and Geraldine Johnson of West Alexandria, Ohio.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James Vaughn who died in 2009, three sisters Joan Jones, Lucille Hackworth, and Freida DeNinno and one brother Robert Salyer. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at the Stockport Cemetery with Bob Cosgray officiating.
