Mary Josephine Wamer, 69 of 43 N. 9th Street, McConnelsville passed away at 3:20 a.m. December 31, 2011 at the Highland Oaks Care Center in McConnelsville. She was born May 30, 1942 in Morgan County the daughter of the late Winifred Balderson Wamer and Lowell Dalton Wamer. She was a member of the Main Street Church of Christ in McConnelsville. She is survived by two brothers, Phil (Carolyn) Wamer of Shelbyville, Tenn. and Andrew (Joy) Wamer of Parkersburg, West Virginia. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister Shirley A. Rowlett. Calling hours will be held fron 11:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Evangelist Vernon Eldridge officiating with burial to follow in the Malta Cemetery.
