Mary Rose Waters, 81, of McConnelsville, passed away on Sat. Feb. 11, 2023 at the Highland Oaks Nursing Home in McConnelsville.  She was born on Aug. 24, 1941 in Keith, West Virginia to the late Howard and Effie Blevins McBrayer.  She worked at Malta Manufacturing in Malta, a home health aide and volunteered for Morgan County Outreach Programs for battered women and AA.  She is survived by 3 sons, Greg Satterfield of Belpre, Steve Satterfield of Malta and Donald Waters of McArthur.  A daughter, Pam Moore of Dalton, NE, a sister, Betty Kesterson of Vincent, 13 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and a special niece Sharon Brigman of Kannapolis, NC.  She is preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Theresa Satterfield, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.  A visitation will be held on Tues, Feb. 14, 2023 from 4-6 P.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville followed by a service at 6:00 P.M.  A graveside service will be held on Weds, Feb. 15, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at the IOFP Odd Fellows Cemetery in St. Mary's WV where she will be laid to rest next to her daughter.  To send a note of condolence to the family go to www.matheneyfh.com
