McConnelsville Matthew B. Strode 29, of McConnelsville passed away Saturday, November 17, 2012 following an auto accident near McConnelsville. He was born January 3, 1983 in Zanesville, Ohio. He worked at Schadd &Son Cabinet Shop in McConnelsville and was a member of the St. James Catholic Church in McConnelsville.He is survived by his parents Patty Altier Strode and Randy Strode of Malta, one sister Sarah (Matt) Hager of Malta, four special nephews Isaac,Samuel, Julian and Lucas Hager and his paternal grandfather Howard Strode of Chesterhill; several aunts,uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Dolores Strode and maternal grandparents Joseph and Barbara Altier. Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012 at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at the St. James Catholic Church in McConnelsville. Burial will be in Chesterhill Cemetery.
