In Loving Memory of Mel Allen Hickerson

Mel Allen Hickerson, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on September 29th, 2023, at the age of 67. He is survived by his devoted wife, Mary Beth Hickerson, and his loving father, Melvin Hickerson. Mel's legacy lives on through his sons, Andrew (Stephanie) Hickerson and Tyler (Emily) Hickerson, and his grandchildren, Hayden and Madelyn Hickerson.

He is also survived by his brother, Todd (Linda) Hickerson, and his sister, Janice (Tim) Riley, along with many nieces and nephews.

Mel's memory is also treasured by his closest friends, Tony Bowen, Rod Bowen, and Bill Aber.

Mel was known for his passion of hunting, which was more than just a hobby—it was a way of life. His time spent in the great outdoors, pursuing his love for hunting, created lasting memories and bonds with family and friends.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, October 4th at Miller-Huck Funeral Home from 11am until 1pm. Service to follow at 1:30. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to either the NWTF Wolf Creek Chapter by contacting North Valley Bank in Malta, OH. or by making a donation to the Testicular Cancer Foundation at testicularcancer.org in Mel's honor.
