Melanie Jean Demster, 59, of Stockport, passed away on Fri, Aug. 12, 2022 at her residence.  She was born on Jan. 21, 1963 in Lancaster, Ohio to Melvin Smith and Norma Kilbarger Schultz.  She worked in the Deli dept at IGA in Columbus before retiring.  She is survived by her mother, Norma Schultz of Stockport, 2 sons, Tim Roby of Lancaster and BryanRoby of Malta, a daughter, Katie Demster of Malta, 2 brothers, Chris Miller of Lancaster and Bill Schultz of Stockport, a sister, Judy Bush of Lancaster and 2 grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her father and 2 brothers, Jerry and Jamie Schultz.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville is handling the arrangements.  To send a note of condolence to the family go to www.matheneyfh.com.
