Melissa M. Patterson, 53, of McConnelsville passed away Mon. July 10, 2023 at her residence. She was born May 4, 1970 to Roger Patterson and Jennifer (Davis) Maddox in Marietta OH.  She was an EMT with the Reno Vol. Fire Dept. She was also a homemaker and loved caring for her children and grandchildren.  She loved horses, art and was an amateur photographer. She is survived by her father and step-mother, Mary Patterson, step-father, Jerry Maddox, 3 daughters, Jessica (Ryan) Sauer of Lodi OH, Kylee (Frederic) Bohl of Hickory NC, and Jordan Brookover of McConnelsville, a brother, Scott Patterson of Lowell OH, step-brother, Dan Cannon of Columbus OH, a sister Lorrie Seevers and step-sister Amy Townsend, both of Marietta OH, 3 grandchildren, Alex, Laurel, and Skyler, and extended family.  She is preceded in death by her mother and grandson Lucian. Funeral service will be Fri. July 14, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville with visitation from 9:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M. on the day of the funeral.
