Michael F. King, 80, of Stockport passed away August 1, 2026 at the Highland Oaks Health Center. He was born February 25, 1946 in Zanesville, Ohio a son of the late, Francis Albert King and Dorothy Bartimus King. Mike was a retired construction worker and was a member of the Iron Workers Local #17 of Cleveland. He was a catholic by faith and was a U. S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was an avid hunter, outdoorsman, and enjoyed training hunting dogs. Michael is survived by two daughters, Robin Griffin of Caldwell, Melissa (Adam) Satterthwaite of South Charleston, Oh.; two sons, Raymond King of Stockport, William (Carrie) King of Hartville, OH.;  two sisters, Teresa King and Susan Marie King both of McConnelsville; three brothers, Doug King and Anthony (Penny) King both of McConnelsville; Dave (Nancy) King of Norfolk, Va. Also surviving are several grandchildren;  great grandchildren;  nieces and nephews; former wife and friend; Nancy King of McConnelsville; son-in-law, Peter Eales; and sister-in-law, Karen King. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Stephanie Eales and two brothers, Fred and Jeff King. Friends and family may call Thursday, August 6, 2026 from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m., at Miller-Huck Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., with Pastor Adam Satterthwaite officiating and Michael will be laid to rest with military honors in New Lexington Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post #24 Color Guard.
