Michael W. McCoy, 58, of Stockport, passed away on Sun, Sept. 4, 2022 at his residence.  He was born on March 31, 1964 in Marietta, Ohio to the late Pearl and Emma Krigbaum McCoy.  He worked as an operator out of Local Hall #18 in Columbus and was a member of the Stockport Vol. Fife Dept.  He loved to ride his Harley's, hunt and fish.  He is survived by his significant other, Lori McClure of the home, a son, Michael (Tricia) McCoy of Stockport, 2 daughters, Alisha McCoy of Stockport and Ashley McCoy of Hobart, Ok, 4 brothers, Paul McCoy of Raleigh, Nc, Ed McCoy of McConnelsville, Tim McCoy of Stockport and Steve McCoy of McConnelsville, 2 sisters, Connie Spencer of McConnelsville and Deborah Forman of McConnelsville and 6 grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Lori Dawson McCoy and a sister Becky Lee.  Services will be held on Thurs, Sept 8, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville with burial following in the Stockport Cemetery.  Friends may call on the family from 12-2 P.M. on the day of the funeral.  To send a note of condolence to the family go to www.matheneyfh.com.
