Mildred Rose Cecil McGee, 82, of Malta, went to be with the lord on Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013 at 3:55 A.M. She was born on December 30, 1930 in Wellston to the late Charles and Alice Henry Cecil. She was a housewife and loved raising her kids. She attended the Calvary Baptist Church in McConnelsville and never missed watching Big Time Wrestling on the TV. She is survived by 7 sons, Leonard A. McGee of Chesterhill, James S. McGee of Glouster, Bernard H. McGee of Malta, Jeff L. McGee of Athens, Forest D. McGee of Malta, Leroy McGee of Chesterhill and Danny L. McGee of Malta, 2 daughters, Candace Lockwood of McConnelsville and Alice Burfield of McConnelsville. Several grand and great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Husband, Forest McGee "1998", 1 son, Rex McGee, 1 daughter, Connie J. Clarke and 2 brothers, Harry and James Cecil. Services will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville with Pastor Dean Blackburn officiating. Burial will follow in the Hollister Cemetery near Glouster. Friends may call on the family on Monday, Feb. 4, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
